Eau Galle Cheese has earned several awards at both the United States and the World Championship Cheese Contests.  In the last ten years we have earned the following top three awards:

2011 United States Championship Cheese Contest – 3rd Place Parmesan

2013 United States Championship Cheese Contest – 1st Place Parmesan

2013 United States Championship Cheese Contest – 3rd Place Asiago

2015 United States Championship Cheese Contest – 1st Place Parmesan

2016 World Championship Cheese Contest – 3rd Place Parmesan

2016 World Championship Cheese Contest – 3rd Place Asiago

2019 United States Championship Cheese Contest – 1st Place Fresh Asiago

2019 United States Championship Cheese Contest – 1st Place Aged Asiago

Our founder, Leo Buhlman, entered his first cheese contest and won second place for his swiss cheese in 1928 at the National Dairy Exposition in Memphis Tennessee.  He also won third place for his parmesan entry in 1982 at the very first United States Championship Cheese Contest.
